I can't find any topics about this so i'm sorry if this is a repeat, but i need to know. I've been hybridding GT cars since GT2 so i'm not new to it or anythin. I used to do it w/ my gameshark on GT3 but i had to get a new PS2 after i fried it trying to mod it. So now my new PS2 won't play my Gameshark v2, and i couldn't find a new version of Gameshark so i went to wal-mart and got an AR MAX, and i have to tell you.... i'm pretty dissapointed w/ it b/c of it's lack of modifier codes and variety, and i hate the fact that each code has to be a folder or sumthin then another code i have to put in to be in the folder. It's good for sorting the codes put a pain in the neck putting it in mostly b/c i have to type them in. BUT, besides that, i was wonderin of there was a way to hybrid w/ AR MAX. I'm guessing not b/c the codes look a little complex, and also i'm sure there's no GS to AR MAX code tranlator b/c they're almost entirely different, or it looks so. But i have been able to play my GSv2 by opening my PS2 and taking out the AR MAX cd and putting in the GS cd manually. it works sometimes the downfall is that i lose all the codes i put in by hand and sometimes it freezes and i did it all for nothin. But if there is a a GSv3 or higher code translator to GSv2 i might be able to hybrid my GT cars once again! thanks for any help

there is no GS to AR max converter that i can find or to my knowledge. that's what i'm askin, if ne one knows of a GS to AR max converter program or a GSv3 to GSv2 program

Umm little advice i wouldn't talk bout that^^ Can get u into alot of trouble take example Cmgsccc.com they used to make codes for the gamesharks until G$ found out they know every inch of there code and were making better codes faster then them thus a lawsuit now there working for codebreaker. I'd say given the time they will have some right now they are working on tekken 5 and GT4 and like half of ther staff is on vaction.

So you want to convert gs2v2 output car/code from mk's over to armax?

You could try this. I use it to convert armax to gs2v2 so hopefully ir will work in reverse.

Dude, he's only modding code. Not to mention he did buy a product from both companies so what's your point?

I guess the topic i should've started would be, "Do you think people will be able to hybrid w/AR MAX?" also a quick ques, where's the 1 lap to finish codes? or instant win codes? i'm not a true cheater, i like 2-10 lap races but the endurance races are a killer, and i have no time for them, and plus their prize cars are always worth it.

*EDIT*
thanks 2o, i hope it works, i have a sickening feeling i need to be a member of that board to DL the correct program though, lol-- i guessed from readin other people's posts sayin it dun work-but in consideration they were guests, and the members said it worked fine

I use ARMax to hybrid:)

1) Transfer the save onto a pen drive.
2) Plug Pen Drive into PC
3) Use the .max to .xps converter
4) Open MKS Garage editor and load the garage
5)Mess around with the cars
6) Convert the file back to .max
7) Put the pen drive file back into your PS2 and load the file

Easy as that:)

i have no idea what that is, i don't think wal-mart carries that. i got AR MAX when it first came outafter my GS v2 was obsolete

O snap it's you Rog! i've been usin your website since GT2! I have to say, thanks a lot for that website and it's great! but i was wonderin if you've gottten to that lap modifier code for ntsc or pal
