Is it possible to remove upgrades? [Answered]

As the title suggests.

I Like to keep cars as there stock equivalents kinda keeps the game more interesting for me.
I haven't seen any options to remove upgrades.
Do I have to by the car again to have a stock version.
Also with PD future patching BHP limits to online etc many of you might end up with cars you should be able to run but unable to if you can't refer the cars back down.

Any thoughts on this.

You can remove some but not others. Things like exhausts and turbochargers are fine, but engine tuning stages, weight reduction stages, rigidity and lightweight "glass" can't be removed.

Thanks mate, maybe I'm odd for wanting to race stock cars, or the option to do so.

Nothing odd about it I enjoy racing cars in standard form aswell.

In some ways GT5P was better in this respect, even though the tuning was dumbed down (as in Im adding power and reducing weight just by moving a setting instead of actually changing parts etc.)

The advantage to that was everything was reversable (there was even a reset to default option) plus you had 3 slots in which you could keep a standard tune plus a couple of modified tunes, it was very handy.
