yeah but as the other dude said no you cannot do engien swaps. On some of the rare cars you can do some performance modifications that are limited to that specific car...some of the camaros you can install jack daniels meth injection, some of the hondas you cause use folgers Aluminum v-tak 8inch racing exhaust, and I dont know for sure as i dont have one but its been rumored on the chaparral 2j you can add a stage 4 spin cycle with your choice of a tide or shout intercooler.
