to do a whole championship series over again?...i wanted to get the mugen s2000 from the type-R race but instead i got the spoon s2000...
is it possible to do the race over again and try to win the mugen s2000 or is it too late..

yes, it is possible. You can go back and re-win any car you want, provided its a series race, and not gifted after winning individual races
 
here's a trick, maybe you know it:

in a series race, save when your series victory has been mathematically determined (ie. impossible for you to lose).

Then, just skip races until the series concludes and see what car you get.
(start the race, and exit it before finishing. Or better yet, before it even starts ;) )

If you dont get what you desire, then reload the save game and try again. :D

People always said it was impossible. Like the all japanese race in amature. You cant do that twice hoping to win a different car.
 
Eh, the series races are the ones where you win more than one car, it's the single races that you only ever win one car from, the Japanese car champoionship is a series race and can be won as many times as you wan't and each time you'll win one of 4 possible prize cars.
 
That trick that people were talking about above, do you need two memory cards, or do you just reload from the screen with the yellow boxes. I've heard of this trick before, but others said that you need two memory cards to do it. So at the point where you can't lose, save and skip the races until you win a car. Then, if you don't get the car you want, reload and skip the races again? Did I get that right?:odd:

did you ever try it Lamboracer?
anything where it says "series race of X-many races" on the background thing you can do over and win different cars

if it says "Single Race" , like all the FR, FF, MR, and 4WD cups do, then you only win a car once

and ya, ESMLefty12, you only need 1 memory card. You have it right

That's it. 👍

I just save before the last race, skip it, then if you don't get the car you want, you just have to reload and skip one race.
 
Just one, at the end of the penultimate race (the one BEFORE the last) on the screen where you can view the replay, save the replay or go to the options, one of the choices is asve game, if you choose that and then if you don't get the prize you want, re-load that game and try again. If your over 10 points ahead of second place you can quit the last race and still win the prize but you have o start the race and then quit, if you quit from the pre-race screen you will exit from the series and get nothing and have to re-load again.
 
Hehe it's funny that quite a number of people don't know what penultimate means. When I use it sometimes they think I mean the very last one.
