Is it true to get the 50% I dont need to do expert?

I am confused, so the new season coming this Thursday doesn't require expert or gold to get the 4 door Mercedes? Thanks.

You don't need gold for reaching 50%. But you will need to win some of the Seasonal Championships on expert difficulty to reach it.

I think you have to get 3 stars on the championships. It's not that hard and it doesn't take a lot of time to get to the 50% point.
