Rumor has it that GT4's Arcade mode has weak computer AI. Is this true?

I´ve seen some movies of cars racing at the NY track and when the cars were entering a corner they kinda bumped in to each others when they where breaking
I dont know if this has to do anything with the AI even tho I´m pretty sure it is......?

if there not gonna improve the AI they need to at the least put power restrictions in races.
