Is it worth it to be on a pro paintball team

I see all my friends selling themselfs out to be sponsered in paintballing. Sure now they get all the most and advanced paintball markers,tanks,paintballs. Sure when you hear it like that it sounds great but 5 years ago we were all just playing for fun none of us thought we would be getting cold hard cash every champion ship won.



P.S. I have been offered to be on a team with all new gear and money should i go for it?
