I've been having so many issues installing my new hard drive and now it has frozen at 75% as I am attempting to restore the data. I know that the data backed up onto the external with no issues but now I cannot put it back on the system. Am I going to be forced to run an entirely fresh system?
How big is the drive and how long has it been stuck at 75%? The last time my buddy installed an HDD (it was either a 500gb or 750gb) and went to restore the data it was at 76% for a good 35-40min. before it went up again. So you may not actually be frozen it just takes quite a while.
