Is my current Dell 1907FP 720p capable?

Say I wanted to jump the gun and hook up my PS3 to my monitor via HDMI-DVI cable to my monitor. Would it be able to display TRUE HD 720p? The maximum resolution of the monitor is 1280x1024 at 60hz.

720p resolution is 1280x720 so yes, it can display a true 720p image. Now if the monitor doesn't have 1:1 pixel mapping, then the image will be stretched to fit the 1280x1024 native res of the monitor.
