Is my G25 near death :s

Hi all, I own a g25 steering wheel. Recently its been playing up on some of the longer races, notably monza formula gt. Basically the wheel stops entirely but i can still use pedals and buttons. If i leave it for a while it cools down and works fine again. Anybody else had similar issues/fixes? Is it easy enough to get replacement internals if it does keel over and die on me? Any help greatly appreciated as im enjoying the game and the wheel far too much to be without.
 
Sounds like a power issue, could be your little external power pack is overheating and causing supply problems, make sure it isn't covered by something. Overwise something power related internally is causing you problems.
 
Sounds like power ... yup. When the PS goes out, the buttons and pedals still work, but the wheel ceases to function. the G25 PS has been updated in recent years I think now that all Logitech wheels in most countries use the same PS. Logitech recently replaced my bad PS ... though it took them a few months to get them in stock.
