Is the AUP the same for GTP & FP?

Hi, Please dont hate me for posting this here, but I can`t find the aup on FP or pm anyone to direct me to it, due to a 30 point infraction.

I just want to know how the points system works & how long 30 points will last, as I have a legit question about FM4 that I can`t find the answer to & can`t post up. :(

I can`t reply straight away, as the ambulance has just arrived to take mum to hospital after breaking her hip.
 
I think AUP is the same on all GTP forum and this is in the wrong section.

Having checked your account and posts on Forza Planet I can assure you that the ban will never be lifted, multiple and serious AUP violations do not get a second chance.

I can also assure you that if you ever post in that manner here at GT Planet you will face exactly the same sanction.

What happened happened because I had just lost my uncle to leukemia(?) that morning, so was not in the right mindset at the time.

So if I make another account over there, I`ll be ok?
 
You could make a second account, just don't be surprised when (not if) you receive a "Returning banned member" PM.

Sorry about your Uncle and all but you're responsible for your actions. If you're "not in the right mindset" don't post.

Any loss of a close family member or friend is horrible, but it doesn't even come close to excusing the posts you made. Many people (myself included) have been in similar situations and yet have managed not to treat the AUP and site members to the level of abuse you managed.

No it will not be OK - the ban remains in place and should you create a duplicate account that will be banned as well, and I will go so far as to say if you ignore the staff on this you will face action here as well.

Can you really blame people for thinking you will? After all, you are the same person and you joined a site with the same set of rules as this one.
 
Then it`s time to sell FM4 then, as I now have no way to solve the issue, so there`s no point owning a game that`ll never get used again. :(
 
Im a little confused as to why a ban on one site does not mean a ban on the other.
 
It doesn't necessarily.

It does jeopardize the continued status of whomever the member may be though.

The two sites share the same site rules, but operate independently. Said poster broke the rules on FP and was dealt with, but as of yet, they have not broken the rules here, so can continue using this forum.

I have made some friends on GTP & become a member of C R A P, which is why I will never act in `that` manner on here, got too much to lose.

But now I cannot enjoy F4 in the same way I enjoy GT5, as I now have no means to find or join the clubs on F4 because of 1 bad day. :(

Everyone has a bad day, alright, ban me for a few months, but not for life. :(

By having a bad day then you must have done something completely in violation of the AUP that was warned to all members when they signed up for the site.

Had it been a minor AUP violation, carried out once then maybe, but please stop acting like the injured party here.

You repeatedly posted racist abuse in a thread, that kind of behaviour is neither minor, nor a one off, and as such does not get a second chance.

I will be blunt with you, Jordan is far more forgiving that I would be in allowing you to remain a member at GT Planet as well.

My wife and children (obviously) are of mixed race and have been on the receiving end of the kind of ignorant, narrow minded hatred you unleashed over at FP. I have zero tolerance for it.

I strongly suggest that you drop the subject of your membership at FP and cut your losses and ensure you do not repeat that kind of thing here.

As I have already said, I don't care what the catalyst for it was, no excuse for it exists.

This subject is now over.

Thank you for making me aware of your personal circumstances Scaff, I now see where you`re coming from. :)

Last point, the pm I got didn`t really explain much or mention bans, it just stated `you have received a 30 point infraction` for a post that had no racist remaks in it (I truly can`t even remember making any racist comments), but an age related insult.

It didn`t explain how the points system works or what an infraction was, so I thought a `30 pointer` meant 30 days, but when the 30 days were up & I still couldn`t get on, I posted the OP here because I genuinely didn`t know how it works, as after reviewing the `infractions` section of the aup, again, I found no mention of how the points system works, so was curious.
If this message comes across as agressive I apologise as it`s not intended to.
 
I didn't realize the severity of your infractions on ForzaPlanet until I just reviewed them now. Your account here has been placed on last-chance status (29 points), so any further disciplinary actions your receive will immediately terminate your membership on GTPlanet.

Information on banishment and infraction points is available in the FAQ and applies to both GTPlanet and ForzaPlanet.
