Something like that ^

More benchmarks - Higher FPS pretty much everywhere and a bit lower power consumption

Tom's Hardware recommendations are a good place to start looking for a new graphics card.

edit - The 460 also seems like a good choice.

Nothing is different between the two. Both have 2 year warranties and both have the same performance.

I'd recommend the Sapphire card, since it has more ventilation around the shroud (not quite as closed as the HIS). It would cool the card better, provided you had a decent case with proper cooling and ventilation.

However, the HIS card has a free coupon of Dirt 3 with it, if you're hot on getting that. :)

However, in some scenarios, an older card performs better than the newer generation of card. For example, the 5850 performs better than the 6850 (in real time gaming benchmars), as the 6850 is an upgrade from the 5770, however the 5850 is a 4850 upgrade (if you're following me). Basically, look around, and don't be afraid to search for an older card and it's benchmarks, like Road_Dogg said, the 460, even though is an older card, performs better than a 550Ti (as it's in the 60 series, not the 50).

It's quiet confusing, just look around and ask around. www.hwcompare.com is one of the best GPU comparison sites in my opinion. :)

^^ This. Then again, they are around $100 more. Totally different class to the 550Ti/460/6850.

get the gtx460 superclocked. its 20% better than the 550ti, the 550ti is more of the low end card. The higher the number doesnt nec. mean its better. Unless your getting a 6 series card, I would pick the gtx 460 over the 500ti anyday. Its worth the extra 20 dollars for a 20% increase in performance. Now a gtx460 vs a gtx560 is a whole different topic.

But Im looking at the $150 range so I think I will get the 6870 Thanks for the help, I may have more questions later though
