Is the evolution of the track influenced by the tires ?

Hello everyone .

Are there, as in project cars 2, iracing and automobilista, additions of rubber on the track which also modify the grip of the tires a little?

I can sometimes see rubber on the track, traces on the vibrators in gt7 but they have been present since the start of the race.

Thank you in advance.

I’ve not seen anyone post about this, similar to this and easier to verify in terms of grip levels would be the wet/drying line and whether that is influenced by where cars actually drive or if it is scripted to the optimum racing line, again unfortunately I just haven’t seen anyone post about it. I would be interested to know about rubbering in and the drying line though.

Yes that's why I created a post, it's the kind of aesthetic detail with physical influence that interests me in a game.

I'm going to try to ride for a long time today to find out for myself if there is no answer to affirm or refute.
But I think I have my answer.

In the sense of rain drying on the track, I'd call it an evolution.

There's marbles on the edges of turns I noticed, too. But that's usually during longer races. I don't recall them affecting grip if you fall out of the racing line.

This is difficult to test as long as we cant create a custom race with drying up conditions (havent looked for that), but I guess there simply is a timer on making the racing line dry faster then the other parts of the track (especially road bumps where water can collect in).

On a drying track, the drier line is predetermined and doesn’t develop based on where the cars are driving. I’m certain of that.
it seems that would be most likely, as it would be the easiest thing to implement, however I haven’t seen any evidence for either case, the pre release video which highlighted it as a feature implied it was dynamic. OP was asking about rubbering in though so this is off topic.

Yeah. Agreed.

It's essentially the perfect racing line according to the game, S-10 kinda alludes to that - stringing together everything you've learned to that point in 1 lap. Not sure driving on rain is the motive (could be) - more running a perfect lap with the damp areas being your boundaries. Though Blanchimont is merciless.

I notice a build-up of rubber off line as a race progresses. If you run over it you will lose grip and run wide, so yes I do believe that track evolution is influenced by the tyres.
