stur1ing
Im considering buying a gt3 rs or gt2 wheel, but the porshe shifter is currently sold out. I was wondering if there was a way to use my g27 shifter with either. Any help will be much appreciated. Sorry ahead of time if this was in another thread. I already searched.

Sure. The pedals work with an adapter. There isnt one to make the shifter compatible. Sorry.

Short answer: No

Long answer: There was a fm3 player that built a circut to use the g25 shifter on the fanatec, in electronic bits and pieces it ended up costing something like $100, and tens of hours of his time. He wont sell them, but he did make the plans available. That said, I havnt got the time, patience or care factor to google it for you.

:odd:

...anyway, has anybody heard of a Fanatec PS3 setup using any other shifters? ACT Labs, SST Lighting, A1, TSW, Frex (am I missing any?)

Edit: Been waiting for my Fanatec shifters for a few months, starting to wonder if they'll ever come at all, so a couple days of modding work is a drop in the bucket

agreed. I want to actually be able to use my shifter soon in stread of waiting untill march for the fanatec.

I am in the same boat. A GT2/CSP that will probably be all wore out by the time I ever get to try the clutch and shifter out.

If you ever find the plans send them over, I am game to at least look into trying it out.
