According to the info, both Amuse and Opera Performance tuned various aspects of it with the help of GT so was this 350Z a real world car or just a fantasy model that exists purely in GT, like the Nismo Fairlady Z Z-tune?

I would have to assume that everything in the GT dealership is fantasy.

But there are plaenty other fantasy cars in normal dealerships aren't there?

The GT cars are as real as the GT tracks.

Not just Red Bull and Vision GT.

A Ford GT LM & Corvette ZR1 LM do exist in real life but these are not the official ones.

With a young Kaz!! :D

So the Gran Turismo 350Z is actually a car from Opera. They're completely equal to another. And it is a real car.

The one in the Opera Performance dealership is real.

The one in the Gran Turismo dealership is not.

Looks like the one from the GT dealership is real judging by the link to Opera Performance's website. Shame it's in Japanese, though. It does specify in the info section of GT6 that the tuning menu was performed by OP and the suspension (I think) by Amuse with the help of GT (hence why it's neither in the Amuse or OP dealerships)
The '04 Opera Performance in the game has different alloys to the one shown in the link above. That one looks like the alloys of the 350Z RS in the game. Also, I don't think OP's '04 model was actually called the 350Z RS, it was just 350Z.

It is quite interesting because I distinctly remember that there was a variant of the 350z you could buy way back when that would come with a ps2 and a brand new copy GT4.
