Is the WheelStandPro usable with G27 or T500?

I've had a FFGT forever and I'm thinking of getting a G27 or maybe event a T500. The thing is I don't really want to add another stand to that price, not anytime soon at least, and especially not with a T500.

Is the regular WheelStandPro (I think I might have the V2, I forget) usable as-is with the G27, or the T500? I'm really only interested in the paddle shifting but I don't know if that helps. Do you absolutely HAVE to upgrade the WheelStandPro to use it with these bigger wheels?

PS. I'm still catching up on some of the other threads about these two wheels but if you could tell me what kind of improvement I can expect coming from the FFGT with either of these wheels I'd love to hear it. I play mostly GT5 and F1 2012, and I've been mostly happy with the FFGT except that the pedals suck, the brakes especially seem to be on/off in most games. What am I going to notice moving up to these wheels?

Yes. But my WheelStandPro was the model for the FFGT. They sell a slightly different one for the G27 (different base I think, which I would have to order and install). I just want to know if this is required or not. Also the WheelStandPro for the T500 is bigger, I want to know if the basic one also works.

belzebutt - I haven't heard of the FFGT - do you mean the DFGT?

I had a DFGT and wheelstand pro. When I upgraded to a T500 I bought the wheelstand pro for the T500. There was a big difference between the stands - the T500 stand was much heavier and more robust - the tubing was larger diameter and the floor section is longer and wider to suit the larger T500 pedal box. I think the DFGT wheelstand could be prone to tipping over if a T500 was fitted and also the floor section tubing might flex particularly if you fit the realistic brake pedal mod which comes free with the T500.

Obviously you can e-mail wheelstand pro to check on this as my DFGT stand was probably not a current model.

Yes! Sorry mine is the DFGT. For some reason I had my ancient Formula Force GT on my mind. :)

Ok so I guess the T500 is probably not mountable on this stand... What about the G27, is a different base required or just recommended?
