EDIT: MITSUBISHI EVOLUTION X GSR

heyy..just a quick question..i bought the logitech G25 steering wheel, and decided to try gran turismo prologue with it..

i am aware that i have to press the upper black button (triangle) on the device in order to activate the clutch control, and it does appear to work for cars such as the mazda rx-8 and skyline. However, it does not work on the mitsubishi X GSR nor the mitsubishi X GSR tuned. It does however work on the Mitsubishi IX. Is it just me, or is this happening to everyone? Thanks

I think it doesn't work because the Evo X itself doesn't have a clutch.

Could be wrong though, don't have a G25.

The evo uses sequential shifting aka auto clutch so u cant use the clutch with it.

oooh thanks! i went to my local mitsubishi dealership and stole an evolution X catalog lol

the evo X GSR has a 5-speed manual while the evo X MR has the paddle shifters

i thought the game has the evo X GSR but maybe this is based on japan's cars, and not canadian cars

The whole car list is based on Japans cars, if they are domestically from Japan, hence GT5p has the Mazda Atenza ( Mazda 6 in the US) with a puny 2.5l 4cyl, instead of the 280hp V6 we can opt for here in the states.

On topic however, did you ever notice that the cars in GT4 that were supposed to be CVT, were still put in as normal transmission cars? Interesting, or hard to translate to the game, I think both.:sly:

ooh i see! haha thanks chad : ) and everyone else! =)

i never played GT4 before...to be honest, the playstation 3 is my FIRST ever console LOL

The only reason why i got the play station was because my dad bought a 46 inch LCD HDTV...thought the PS3 would match the tv! haha but its well worth the money! :)

The smooth CVT works in GT4 cars if you leave it at automatic. I remember the Fit and the Prius bored me to tears.
