Is there a good way to promote a topic without spamming?

Title says it all. I got a topic that i would like to promote, so the people who didn`t noticed it could see it. Whats the best way to do this? :nervous:

If it relates to GT5; just make a thread here.

If it relates to any other game, post it in that sub-forum.

If it relates to something not discussed in a sub-forum, post a thread in the Rumble Strip. :)

It relates to GT5 but i already posted it in the proper sub-forum. Is it ok to Re-post it here?

If you're asking a question about GT5, then you may post it here.
If it's a thread about GT5 then it should only be posted in the Gran Turismo 5 sub-forum.

Ok got it thanks :)

If you go here:

https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/misc.php?do=bbcode

...about 1/3 of the way down you'll see headings for "Post Linking" and "Thread Linking" so instead of using the whole address in your sig, you can use The Nürburgring 4Hr Race Report by Tarkata and turn it into a link like so:

[post=7956820]The Nürburgring 4Hr Race Report by Tarkata[/post]

The coding for that looks like this...without the "*" in it.

[post=*7956820]The Nürburgring 4Hr Race Report by Tarkata[/post]

7956820 is your the number of your first post in your thread which you can find by going to the "#1" in the top right of the post, right clicking, click on "Properties" and the 7 digit number is your post number.

Saves a ton of space in sigs especially where space is limited.
