Is there a patch?

I've understood from reading some threads that there may already be a patch (1.03 or 1.04) available

Am I mistaken? If not, how would I obtain the patch? I'm on PS4 and usually patches just appear in Notifications

I'm reading about all kinds of G29 problems and want to make sure the latest patch before I dive in and get frustrated

Check what version your running , mine was already updated when I first launched the game

Check what version you are on. The latest build is v1.03.

Is the in-game version number meant to be different from the patch number? On the PS4 game info menu it says I'm on v1.03, but in-game it says v1.00.0842.

Thanks! I see 1.00.0842 also, so I guess I have the latest.

Where are you seeing 1.03 BTW?

Highlight PCARS2 on the PS4 main menu, press Options and select Information.

When I install this game, it asked me to do an update. The update is over 12GB!!

It's telling me that it will take about 8 hours to finish the update. That is a serious patch!
