Is there an easy way to reset Performance Points (PP) across whole garage?

Has anyone discovered (or know of) a way to reset the Performance Points (PP) for all cars in your garage? By this I mean set back to the correct default value any PP's for cars you have limited either using the engine power limiter or adding ballast to the car?

Reason for asking is I'm playing a lot of on-line PP handicap races, switching circuit and PP level after every race. This means that over the course of an evening I may have used 15 or 20 different cars, each being tweaked to fit the appropriate PP level at the time. I'd love to be able to just reset the entire garage back to is correct PP level by removing power restrictor and the ballast settings. Means the next day I know I'm starting with the correct PP values and can adjust as appropriate.

Is this something I'm going to have accept is a manual and time consuming process?

No way to reset them all that I know of, but I feel your pain. It sucks a bit to have to reset everyone manually. Especially when you have a countdown to race start ticking away... I've missed a couple races by being caught putting my pp up to it's vest

there is no way to reset to default unfortunately, as said.
IM not too sure, but does the PP limiter only show up in online races? Maybe the normal GT-life garage always shows the default PP ? Would at least be a way to identify cars faster.

Strangely enough, last night I want into the GT-life garage after spending the evening on-line and changing PP values of various cars and was surprised to see my M3 CSL showing its default (i.e. no restrictions applied) PP value. I then clicked on the settings (right-click context menu route) and it showed the PP value as set on-line. Backing out of the settings menu then changed the GT-life front screen PP value to that of the restricted on-line value. Probably a bug somewhere in there that resulted initially in the wrong value being shown. Either way, the car was still in its restricted state from the on-line session.

I feel your pain. I'm trying to complete the A-spec FGT championship. No matter what tune I use, I keep getting passed. So, I figure maybe and engine overhaul will help. So, off to GT Auto we go, drop the 500,000 credits on the counter, and the GT techs do their thing. Off to Monza we head, and I'm still getting passed? Rotten no good GT Auto techs took my money and didn't rebuild my engine! :grumpy: I notice we still only have 649hp, and the description says capable of 880hp+ 💡 Well, being the absent minded team owner that I am, :dunce: seems I forgot to increase the PP from 70%ish back to 100%. made the adjustment, and now have 915hp!!!! Amazing how much more power the 'ole FGT has now!!!

Ouch!

Even a little symbol next to the car to indicate in the garage that its an altered PP value would help....(and remind you)....!

I see the same glitch happening online. I'll pick a car that is at or near the PP required in the race, go into tune to adjust the gears and see that the PP are now way more than what's required. So I change the engine power to match. Then I go back into the car list just to see what happened and the car is listed in a different spot, way different even from where the new engine power/PP level would put it. Weird.

Its not a glitch, since the update, tyres no longer effect PP, so when you view it in the garage list, it shows the former value, however going into settings, or trying to enter it into an online race will set it to the correct "new" value

For example, if it had racing softs on, the PP will fall under the new settings, in it had comfort hards on, it will rise

PP values only update when you are currently using the car or when you adjust the settings. Otherwise they are static.

I find this very annoying, because so many times I was searching in my 700 cars garage to find a good match for the Performance Point requirement and took me ages because these values kept changing when going into settings...

I know, I was upset the first time this happened, then realized that every car in my garage was this way.....what suck PD. I have just adjusted as I need to, not going to wait all that time to change every car in one day. Its annoying, even being able to do something as last gen as saving a set ups would make this a non issue.
