Yes, there is a difference, One car is built in 2011, the other is built in 2013.

Apart from that, I don't know. I own one Nascar and that is the free car that PD give us as a prize car. It does what it needs to get gold medals in seasonal events and that is enough for me.

If you search within the Seasonal Event sub-forum, you'll hopefully find the post where WhoosierGirl shared her results of testing the NASCAR vehicles. She did consistently find that some cars were faster and some were slower.
