..birthday glitch cars?
I for myself won't use this "feature" to get my hands on these cars. But I think that many people offer these cars in the trading section without saying it.
Is there any negative thing for me when I recieve such a car without me knowing it? Am I able to notice it somehow? (After I got the car?)

Old cars not available to purchase from the dealer might have zero miles on them.

Aside from that, prolly no other tells.
 
The 2D Race Car is a standard and therefore only available from the UCD. I guess that a Birthday Exploit example of that car would have, as Squibis suggests, 0 miles recorded.
 
If it is not a reward car, is standard, and has a mileage of less than 200km it is probable that it is a glitched car.

The lowest mileage of a car I've seen in the UCD is the bugatti veyron, which was 200 or something.

That's not true, you can win those cars from prize tickets. The tickets you get from finishing a whole class of events gives you a new car, which can be standard, it would have zero miles. Also, the ticket you get for driving 2000km gives you a new car, which can be standard, with zero miles.

They can probably look to see where the cars came from, which PSN users and stuff, and you can definitely tell what date you acquired the car, it wouldn't be too hard for there to be a lot of evidence against you. That said, I think they would have done something by now.
 
Simple solution that I use is don't trade(unless with trusted friends). You don't need to nor should you want to trade a car when you can earn it yourself in the game.

I have saw cars in the used car lot with as low as 8 km on them

so when you get a reward car you can't sell and don't want (don't like) what do you do? just empty it out of your garage and get nothing in return, that is the point of trading. OR what happens when you buy a car in the used car lot and then are also rewarded one, if its a $200K car, you would get like $60K for it if you sell it, OR you could trade it to someone who wants it and get another high $ car in return. Thats the reason for trading!
 
Look at what Deal he enters the car, if he thriws that thing onto You like it aint worth a dollar then it is probably a Bday car

Yeah I noticed that too, most people who got it glitched will trade it for a song, those who paid for them usually want a lot in return.
