I bought them 3 for like 17$ but is there other car i can buy?

No, there aren't any new car packs out besides those, yet. New ones come every two months, so the next one should be out some time during March because the last car pack came out in January.

cool thx :) i think the nicest one was the first one :)

Don't foget not to use text speak (thx) and make sure you use capitol letters where needed, ok. You gotta get into the habit of good grammar here otherwise you will get harrased about it. Glad to see you bought the car packs. I think you'll enjoy them. Peace little friend.👍

Oh yeah right i am sorry... I will do my best to use proper grammar ! I speak french so it is pretty hard for me but i'll do my best :)

Thats all they ask here is that you do your best. Your fine bro.

Forget; not foget. And capital; not capitol.

...and "that's," not "thats."
and "you're," not "your" (the second time)
:boggled:

KB: Obviously proper spelling doesn't count as long as people don't use "text speak". Ironic you would be critical of someone else's grammar. Your posts are full of bad spelling. That's a LOT more irritating than text speak.

No, text speak is a lot more annoying than a post with simple grammar mistakes.

Your opinion only. I disagree. Grammar mistakes aren't "simple". They show ignorance and laziness. Considering how easy it is to check spelling, it shouldn't happen that many times in a single sentence. Also, spelling the same word wrong over and over again shows extreme laziness. Everyone makes a mistake now and again, but tons of them over and over can be irritating.

This thread suddenly turned into English class.

Thank KB for that. The poor OP just wanted a simple answer to a simple question and suddenly (as usual) the power tripping starts.

I can honestly state that of all the forums i'm a member of, none are so obsessive and fussy about how people type and speak as this one. It does come across as quite petty and ridiculous sometimes guys! Surely the main thing is that people are welcomed here and feel free to ask questions and so on without the fear of having an English lesson thrown at them (and then the corrections are often wrong!)

I agree, and that may be why no moderator has said anything up to now. There was nothing we needed to point out.

KBfan has tried to help where none was needed and has ended up making the situation worse by making the worst posts in this thread, ironically, as he tries to correct someone else.

The thread was made by someone from Quebec and that indicates that English is probably not his first language, so he automatically gets more leeway than others.

It would also seem that some users need to know the difference between bad grammar and bad spelling, and lazy grammar. The only one we actually do anything about is the lazy grammar, from people that should know how to make a good quality post. It would seem that some think we're too strict on grammar and spelling. Jordan has always stated that the reason he has the lazy grammar rule is to promote better discussion. Good, well written posts promote good, well written responses. Also, GTP is for everyone's use, not just English speaking parts of the "planet", and good, well written posts are easier for someone using English as their 2nd language to understand.

We don't ask for, or expect, perfect English in every post. All we ask is that you use English to the best of your ability, which I'm sure is what happened here in the first place.

Yes, very funny, I'm sure, but probably not the best thing for someone in your position to post...

Boy! This thread is costing a lot of money. I will add my two cents.

The black cat jumped over the fence.

EDIT: p.s. Thank god they do not have Saabs in this game.

You must be sticking to one corner of the internet, because this is one of the more forgiving forums I frequent. Although, most of the forums I hit up are primarily populated by USA and Canadian citizens.

Lots of people here do not use English as a first language, and I love the variety, so I would usually only offer a correction if they are asking to learn.

Trust me, I use many different types of forums based nationaly and internationaly on all manner of subjects and none have so many non-moderating members offering their 'wisdom' on how one should be typing their responses!

As you rightly state, many of the members here do not use English as their primary language and people should be more tolerant of that - especially when to the left of each post it gives the posters nationality!

👍 this one, I never understood why people correct mistakes for users who don't use English as a main language, isn't most important thing just to understand each other and talk about our hobby, no matter what mistakes I make in my sentences, for me English isn't second language, its third! Latvian - Russian and then only English for me! 👍 still I can understand 99.99% people here even if they are typing blind with leg! Thing that matter is to communicate globally with people all over the World!

And i'd just like to say that for someone who uses English as their third language, you put many who use English as their native tongue to shame 👍
