Is this a glitch? (paint)

I just bopught all the premium cars that can be race modded. Whenever I paint them it's using 2 paint chips, or maybe it would take any amount, idk, I've had 2 of any paint I tried. I paint the car, then I go back to maybe match the rims and both the paint chips are gone.

I tried restarting the game and it still does it. Luckily I noticed and could exit the game so I didn't lose my DLC paints I tried using. Am I stuck in some messed up glitch with my save or something? Or do race modded cars (which I've never painted before) cost 2 paint chips to paint? I've never had this happen before.
 
That sounds like a glitch. It should only use one paint chip.
 
Yeah, I'm not sure what it was. I happened to back up my save on the cloud last night. I got a matte light red for 1030 cars so I duped it this morning because I'd never seen light red. When I got my save back off the cloud, for some reason it took like 4 minutes to download. Maybe that messed up something with the save. I went back to that save again, luckily I didn't delete it off the cloud. It seems fine now. It's only using one paint. I only lost about 30 minutes-1 hour worth of work.

Just a fluke. Nothing to see here folks. OH MY GOD!!!! LOOK AT THAT !!!!!!!
 
Its never done that for me, and I normally repaint the car with colour I purchased the car in, so normally I'll only have one chip of it. But even when I paint them in other colours, it still only uses one.
