what do you think? (P.S, i didnt put a link coz somebody else could snapp it up)

The seller most likely has a reserve set on the memory stick, which means that if the highest bid does not reach that set price, no one gets the memory stick. That's why he starts it off at one cent, hoping a lot of people will bid on it and meet his reserve and then some.

Which is why I said "most likely." I didn't see it either, but I was just making sure. The same principle applies, though. Start out real low so a lot of people will bid on it and it eventually gets up pretty high. Also why he doesn't have a "buy it now" button.

Yeah, because these morons can't wait til the end so they jack up the price thinking they will get it automatically.

I thought it was funny seeing 512mb ms'd for $25 but shipping was $75. and 1gb for $35 with $85 shipping. both weight just about the same.

yeah... eGay says abusing s&h charges will not be tolerated but it happens all the time. I've been trying to locate a cheap copy of Star Wars III by looking for local sellers and 9 times out of 10 say they wouldn't let me pick it up.

2 gigs has to be at least twice the weight of the 1 gig. And then imagine when it's full of data as well :irked:

And yet you STILL left in the whole article description as well as the sellers name ;)

Anyway - You can see the price go up as the deadline approaches. One ending in 17 hours is at 46 GBP.... It'll probably end somewhere in the vicinity of shop prices. Just because it's Ebay doesn't automagically make it deal of the century - though some people seem to think so...

eBay taxes the sale price, not theshipping. Think about it.

:odd: No, not necessarily true. You do have to be careful and read though. I got my $500 MTB wheelsets off eGay for $225.

Absolutely - There ARE indeed deals to be made on eBay.. But some sheep seems to think that just because it IS eBay - it MUST be a good deal...
