Without TCS and ASM, i won the Professional Turbo Car Cup race at Midfield with a 304 hp Tommy Kaira ZZS.

1st. Tommy Kaira ZZS: 12:46.263
2nd. Mine's Skyline GT-R N1 V-Spec II (R34): + 0:13.038
3rd. RUF CTR2: + 0:22.129
4th. Lotus Esprit Sport 350: + 0:41.709
5th. Toyota Supra RZ: + 0:46.634
6th. Mazda RX7 Type RS: + 0:53.886

Fastest Lap: 1:14.439
Tyres: Super Hard Slicks (T2)

Is this just an average achivement?
 
I dunno, it seems pretty good, but I think the ZZ-S is about in the price range of the other cars...:p
 
If i had pitted then i would have been second i predict.

I actually feel as if i cheated on races where everyone pits apart from me - and i win the race. :(
 
I don't remember using this vehicle at all, but then my memory sucks. I'm going to go try it now to see what I'm missing.:D
 
ehhh that is there own fault for pitting on there tires... if they were on your tires they wouldnt have to pit... that is hte justification i use lol
 
i raced with my s2000 type v with 350 hp in the fr on midfiled two... domt remember my times... but i barely beat the car that was in first.... dont remember that car either... but i only because cause they pitted once... and i didnt win by much... although i think i lapped the mustang and some other car...
 
sounds like a good job to me, the zzs isnt as good as the zzII yet i never drove it but i might have to try it now.
 
i HATE the mines skyline...sorry bad memories...i did the pro turbo cup with a 400r, 600 something hp, no tcm or asm, t2's no pits and fastest lap (midfield) was something like 1:17, ahead by like a minute something(except for the mines skyline :mad: ). i figure i over did the hp but it takes some skill to drive on t2's with no tcm or asm...although ur zzs kicked the **** out of my 400r with half the hp:p sounds like u got an acheivement to me...

hey j rock... you can push your 400r to around 1:14 with 500 something hp... extend the sixth gear a lil with a close ratio box on... i am talking aobut on t2s.... i have done at least this fast with both my vr4 and my 400r... infact i will try again today... havent used either car for a while... loving my 323 hp speedster...
 
on apricot i an running a 1:24 consistently and in the amature world gt championship... i can run second without anyone pitting... but that dam viper oreca pit and didnt let me see if i could catch him... i was like a second behind him when he pit... :(.... oh well.... i will go get the ia liscence... started over on new mem card... so i can race the na prof or mr prof... speedster is na... no turbo... so sad

i have just run the amature all japan gt championship (apricot as well) running 1:24... this time the highest i got (after three tries) was third place... i could not beat toms supra and the raybrig nsx... no prob beating the green nsx or any of the gtr's... this one was slightly harder tho... cause they are faster in the straights... kept passing me on the straigts and i kept passing them in the turns... still gotta do proffesional...

BTW i am now running a 1:23.5 on apricot with my 323 hp speedster and can beat hte viper fair and square...

:D GREAT Race format you've found.👍 Didn't have a ZZS on this memory card so used a 284 HP Elise 190 since they're so similar. Best time on hard tyres 12'48.xxx. Screwed up & ran it on "qualifier tyres" which necessitated a pit stop, time of 12'49.xxx. But the best one was a run w/RGT that had us swapping the lead 19 Times in the first 5 Laps before I got ahead to stay!!! Enjoyed that one so much I saved the replay!!! THANX Again. Will attempt it in a ZZS ASAP...UB57

sometimes not pitting seems like cheating to me a bit...

i mean if you are 1st or just a few seconds behind 1st in a race where the AI are gonna pit and you arent then you are assured of a win really.. i mean you'd have to really stuff up to lose.

but that was a good win. next time try less hp and stickier tires that will force you to pit :)
 
I'm going to try it again and pit on the first lap. That way i come out to a clean track and don't have to worry about 'slower' faster cars getting in my way. :)
