Is this a virus?

My modem has been playing up recently. Sometimes it wont switch on and sometimes the send/receive buttons dont light up. It wouldn't switch on a few minutes ago so I shut down the computer and then tried the modem and it switched on fine
Also, this looks a bit fishy to me is it anything important because task manager wont let me terminate it.


Ive got AVG free edition and keep it updated, I have AdAware and Sygate firewall but I havent scanned the computer in ages. Im not sure whats going on with my computer.

Any advice?

Is this an external dialup modem or a cable/DSL modem?

I doubt it, I have it too. Maybe its just your modem.
