Is this another glitch?

My bob pits in and changes his tyres but only becouse he needs to refuel. So he enters the pit just as I changed the channel as Im watching a movie to see how his doing. I noticed that he only wanted to refuel 4 liters!! :s as im charging the controller I didnt reach to change the amounts of litre to refuel before the pit timer went out. this forced him to pit twice, luckly enough im in a good lead so i managed to win with a sec, doing the FGT championship.

Is this a glitch if so that means we have to watch out and babysit him in any races, or is it more of an glitch to the FGTchampionship or do I somehow have to teach my bob how the engine works and that petrol will be burned?

This is just another example of the bad AI in GT5, from bob being a moron in general to AI cars starting on slicks in the rain, AI death spirals in endurance races etc, etc, etc
