Sony HATES mod chips take that selection out of your site and you should be OK I'm not sure if thats illegal or not.

Yep, I think someone was messing with you. If Sony had taken exception to something you were doing you would have received a formal cease and desist notice.

You can sell backups if you have the origional copy. Anyway, look at it now!

No you can't. You can make a backup for yourself (although most software has it written into thre contract that you aren't even allowed to duplicate it without permission.) You also can't provide webspace used to store copyrighted material like Roms, or software in general unless it is freeware or public domain.

This is so funny.

"Question: Can I legally sell something that is illegal to sell?"

Hahahah!

Ok you need to be very careful in that type of business.

People often sell their illegal goods to friends or colleagues, it is dangerous when you begin selling to the, 'general public', as it is far easier to get caught?

I feel better since you all seem to think it was fake. I raec its legal to sell backups somewhere as long as the people have the origionaland can prove it.

Anyway, he said in the e-maol that he also lied and said I stole his friends PS2 as well. So, I have that. ;)

It's definitely illegal to sell copyrighted material, trust me.

In all honesty, I was NOT selling copyrighted material. I had some games for sale, full games, not backups! The backups section was for testing, like the best disc to use and I would review the quality. So, I had nothing against me. ;)
