may have been asked before but i did search...

okay so...you're flyin' down the home straight in Tokyo and youve got an enemy car on your right....is it possible, as you get level with the other cars, to push them off into the pit lane when they have no intention of going in there?..

i have tried this hundreds of times to no avail...i will keep trying coz i am sure it can be done....you need a big heavy car, viper or aston martin etc...and lightweight opposition...and force them in...

please tell me no one has done it coz i want to be te first!!

i just live to torment the AI :trouble: :trouble:

yes i have done it twice but you need skill and Timing. If you have a Super fast car like a F1 car go ahead of them adn when the time is right GO fullspeed and hit them in there.

btw,How do i get this New Member status off me!!???

It's not like it's a disease or something; cheez.

READ THIS.

And welcome to the forum.

Are you talking about Tokyo in specific?
Beacuse I have never done it personally [or tried], but I have pushed cars into the pits before - I pushed the Cobra into the pits on the Seattle Enduro [like I needed to push it in there, maybe the driver has something going on with the tyre mechanic or something ]

I have never pushed anyone into the pits in any GT game, but in GT1, I pushed a racing Lancer into the wall on that tricky set of turns where there is a road above you in SSR11. In GT2, I pushed a Lister Storm Race Car into the wall in SSR5.

During the British Car races, I got shoved into the pits at Rome by an Aston. I was just passing on the inside when WHAM he hit my door as he pitted. Luckily I spun on purpose before he pushed me into the Auto Drive part and I drove back out of the pits and onto the course, salvaging the win.

Yup. Done it quite a bit. It's also fun to force them OUT of the pits - say at Grand Valley - so they have to run another lap on scarlet tyres... :D

One race I decided the 6th place Audi S4 needed help. So I trapped every other car in the race and pushed the S4 practically to the finish in my P002. Of course, I passed him on the line - I'm not giving up my win for anyone :D

It's easiest at Grand Valley Reverse. The AI telegraphs it's intentions. You just need to get slightly ahead of him - so your side is level with his front wheel.

I'll see if I can get daan to make a video of my Car Trapping replay - 2 lap race, P002 vs everyone else vs S4 :D

I've accidentally forced an AI car to pull a Robby Gordon and smack into the end of the pit wall a few times, but never actually tried forcing them all the way into the pits. It just seemed like it would be too risky, messing up a whole lap just to handicap a car I'm probably faster than anyway.

In some stages you can force them to hit the "PIT>>>" sign, which is solid, and stops the car instantly. If they don't spin after they hit the sign, they get stuck there for the rest of the race.

I think you'd need to go the the other side, and then turn the car into the other car, so it has enough force to push it into the pits...I've never tried it though.

I Have tried!!..

its great fun to torment the AI...another trick i use is when in a long series, say 10 races and you want to use the save reload trick at the end...well its possible to win the series after only 6 races and quit the last 4...

you have to manipulate the finishing order of the other 5 cars in the race...dont let one get way ahead of its competition...in order to do this, use a fast car...lap the competition and then if one car is ahead of the others in points ram him offf the track...or move infront of him and brake to slow him down and let the others past...

that way they'll be pretty even after the first 6 races and you'll be ahead by 40+ points (assuming you win every race)...

its great run and helps with boredom especially on a 10 lapper of the test track...

little things like this give me a real kick...i know...i'm sad..:(

Once what happened was that I went in straight to the pits after the other F1, and got stuck behind the autodrive in the pits...I'm lucky it wasn't a long one, it was only the Cote D'Azur one, and I didn't get stuck when it actually went to the pit...

I just came from GT all stars Pro, I was catching up from lapping the GT-ONE race car and it was about to Pit but i was on teh Right side when you hace to turn to pit adn it was forcing me there but to bad i was more faster adn I got out of there but teh GT-ONE got Stuck on the PIT>>> Sign and Would Leave for nothing, I even tryied to help it move, but it still was in teh wall trying to pit.
