Usually you play a game like this and there is a progression of experience and "like" then the "like" dies on you. What do I mean? We'll you get into the game and find you like X. After a while you're done with X but fortunately you now like Y. That goes on for a while then you stop playing the game altogether.
My evolution so far is: Started with the premium street cars. Experienced them, found some I really like driving. Then I went to standards and have found some real gems in the standards! Now I'm into the race cars, Ford GT LM, BMW V12 LM, etc... Of course they're the most expensive. But I'm enjoying the speed, power and handling.
With the tracks Nurburgring was my favorite. It still has enough appeal to me that my wish list is to go watch the actual race in Germany one summer, and drive the track at 30mph.
Now my favorite track is La Sarthe. Even more so than when I played Grid and drove it. Graphics are 10x better in GT5. A race car humming along La Sarthe is a beautiful thing!
