Is this the "return" of the banned user log?

So while I was browsing through the comments of one of the articles I came across this:

As you can see there is a red text box in which you can read the reason of the ban. Is this a new feature? Does that mean every time somebody's banned we can read in his/her last post why the person is banned?

No, it is not a new feature. We can chose to use it or not and have been able to for a while. There is not much point in using it for other warnings as the member being warned gets an automatic PM. In this instance I chose to use it as the easiest way to let the member know why this duplicate account was banned.
