Well, as the topic suggests. This is a thread for isometric pixel art. Today I started and completed my first ever isometric... Anything.

So, as you can see, this is a house. I did it all in paint, even the grass which took me about 15-20 minutes to create, then copy and paste all over.
Comments and criticism is very welcome!

I also plan on making a Nintendo Wii, as its a fairly simple shape for a beginner like me.
So if any of you other guys out there have some isometric pixel art to post up, go ahead.

I've always enjoyed looking at isometric pixel art, it always reminds me of Sim City. I just think it's a lot of work for little payback.

Thats great 👍, also reminds me of Sim city.

Hehe, reminds me of Habbo hotel. They just look so time consuming to make... how long did it take you overall?

Umm, I think I was working on it on and off for about one and a half hours-ish. I can't imagine how time consuming some of the more complex stuff would be.

Big bump.

Well, since the house I made a lot less isometric things than I would've hoped to.

This one I made a long time ago, it could be so much better than it is, note the unusually long shadow.

This one took a while to get finished, I'm pretty happy with the result and like the Wii, it was made a while ago.

This one doesn't make much sense to me at all, it was just something I did late one night a while ago.

This one was made just last night, I don't think the bricks have the right proportions, but I'm still pretty happy with the result.

EDIT: Just figured now that my main problem was I didn't make the length exactly double the size of the width.

Any comments are welcome. If anyone else has given isometric pixel art a go, feel free to show off your stuff here.

Looks like a 3d model with aliasing IMO. :p

I just made some updated Lego blocks. Some parts still aren't perfect, but I tried my hardest, so I'm happy.
