You know, I think it's great that you've launched the GTPedia, but the banners for it seem to be preventing me from logging in.

Whenever I click on the Forums tab, while not logged in, I get to this window and can't move forward, as there's no place to put in my login information.

So I typed www.gtplanet.net/login and it took me to a page where I could enter my login information, but it always said the username and password were invalid. I entered my email to reset the password, and it said there's no registry of that email on GTP's database.

All this happens on Mozilla Firefox 3.6.28

I tried using Safari 5.0.6 and I logged in perfectly, and it's what I'm typing this thread in right now. Yet, my default browser (at work) is Firefox.

Advertising at its best.

Have you tried clearing your cache? That can solve lots of problems.

That's quite a strange rendering error. I think I discovered what was causing that old version of Firefox to do that, so it should be fixed for you now. Firefox is now at version 22, so you should upgrade it if you can.

EDIT: These changes broke things in other browsers. I'll have to spend more time on fixing this later today.

For the record, the easiest way to reach the login page (if you can't use the form at the top) is to simply click on anyone's username in the forum. You have to be signed into your account to view a user profile, and you will be prompted to login if you try to view them as a guest.

Ah got it... that's what I'll do. I have a very old Mac at work, so I can't upgrade to a newer browser... impossible to install Chrome :(
