Ive found a few cars in the game where i try a hard turn and keep accelerating, but the gas gives up and im in a slow turn. Im sure its supposed to do this because lots of cars do this (Toyota 7, 458 Italia, Gallardo). The cars given as an example were all fully tuned. I'm ok with it but im getting to the point were 2 or 3 cars slap first place out of my hands and i ultimately lose. I wonder if its that i need some custom suspension settups or if anyone else has this issue with some cars.

Are you talking about traction control not letting you accelerate properly? What do you set it to?

Muffinland: I know what you're talking about and it's frustrating and not very realistic. Acceleration is pretty much completely absent when on a curve. The only time I had this happen in real life is when my computer fried in my old pontiac and the acceleration was messed up. Shouldn't happen in the game but it does.

I'm thinking this is ASM or Traction Control telling you you're being a bit silly...

well i leave that to wat its normal set to wich is 2. and watever else that other thing is but i can look at it or turn it off.

Not a traction control thing. It's a design flaw. No acceleration when turning.

The only time I've had that is when I drive an FF car and using any tires lower than race. I turn and hit the accelerator only half way and get major understeer.

lol...in either of my 458s as you mentioned above, if I step on the gas (especially in 3rd) she gets real tail happy real quick. You still have an assist on somewhere. Sounds like TC to me.

I've had the same problem!! But only with My Zonda LM Race Car.... But it still concerns me. I use the same settings for it as every other car!

It's the traction control, it limits your throttle under sharp turning. That's why it's happening in multiple cars. Try turning it off and it will go away. 👍

If the car doesn't accelerate in a turn, you definitely have ASM on. Go to the driving options in the pre-race screen and turn ASM off and set TCS to 1 or 0 and you won't have any problems.

I turned it all the way to "off" and it works. If the ASM is on i didnt mess with it. the only thing i mess with is the driving line on new tracks. im thinking i cursured down one more than i shouldve. but im in the middle of fixing the cars with it on. thanks guys. truely help i can whoop butt now.
