Some hours ago I tried to enter a Shuffle race, its was a Drag Racing room, then the host turned it into a Shuffle race, fine, about 5/6 people in the room, we played without any problems, then the room closed and I went to find another one, I entered another room where there was a race going on, I clicked to watch the race and did until it finished, the results board appeared and the Time Limit went to 0, it should have changed but it didnt, I was stuck there but I still could hear what other people were talking, after some minutes the track changed, I tought finnaly, but no my controller was still useless no matter what the little arrow wouldn't move, after a bit more time I saw they started to race again, and my screen was still frozen, then I quit the game and went to another Shuffle Race room, same thing happened but this time I left the watch mode before the race finished thinking this may be the problem but no, grrr, I thought it was a connection problem so I tried another Drag Racing run, it turned out fine, I could hear everyone clearly, no delays, lag.On the same day I got a huge delay after the screen that says to keep the brakes pressed, but it was everyone that had this not only me.This has never happened to me, any suggestions on what to do? Clear the cache? Reinstall game? Any of you guys had the same problem?

Don't worry, its a a glitch that clearly needs to be addressed and fixed by the GT developers via patch. You can only enter a course in "shuffle mode" only when the server is in the main lobby/free run. If you join in on a "shuffle server" during a race, not only will you be unable to join in the game at the end of the race but the game will also freeze no matter what screen you're on. The only solution is to exit the server and re-enter when the race is over and back in the main lobby. You can also shoot a PM to the host to let him know that you want in on the race and they will usually wait for you to join before starting the next race.

As for the "Keep your brakes on before start of race" message, that is one of the event penalty options that can be toggled on/off by the host. If you have never done an official proper drag race at a track before; you're supposed to depress (hold down the brake) until the timer hits zero, the arms drop or when the green light glows before slamming on the gas.

I hope that clears all the confusion you've been experiencing thus far.
