The Isuzu Elf Mio is a compact version of the Elf designed to tackle truck driver shortage in Japan, as it was designed to be legally drivable with standard driving license instead of a heavy-duty truck license. Measuring and displacing no larger than a 5-number Hiace Van and with GVW rated under 3.5 tons to achieve this, its compact size also means it can also fit into most of Japan's neighborhood roads.
