Ok, I searched the site for discussions on the amount of items you can have. No luck today, but I've read it before. Some one wrote 7000 items were allowed, but? Ok, I got the standard message a couple weeks ago, no more room for items. So I went in and deleted over 1000 helmets, 500 suits and 200+ Horns. I'm a paint chip collector, that lasted a week. So now this a.m. It didn't give me my daily ten paints, per lack of item room? I have 3,228 different paint chip items, 120 level tickets or so. But that's no where near 7000 items. The only way I have that many items would be if they count the total chips you have, not just the different ones? Like 12 brilliant black, 10 Indy yellow, 10 midnight purple, and so on and so on... What can I do? I hate to open all my level tickets, then two days from now I'll need more room again! Help?
 
To answer the overall question.. Yes it counts each individual paint.. 12 matte blacks = 12 items.. BUT when you are deleting paints even if you Click on a paint that you have a quantity of say "10" when you delete that paint it will say 9 instead of deleting all 10.. I honestly just delete my suits and gear and horns and museum cards.. I had them all but I love playing the game and those items in no way improve or alter the gaming experience! 👍

Ya I figured out the paint deleting thing right away, like you said.. It just takes away one paint chip per delete. So I have deleted everything, helmets, horns, suits. But still full of items. So I regretfully started deleting some paints and I am leaving at least 3 per color of the most available paints. But this is kinda defeating the purpose of my paint chip collecting hobby. I now have 3,236 different paint chip colors, and new ones are few and far between. But I have read there are only like,2700 different colors. How can this be? How many different colors do you have? I pretty much have each brand-color memorized by there name, so when a new one pops up I see it quickly. Third attempt at this, up to 6230 game days again. This is about the same place I lost everything the prior two attempts.
 
I've also got around 3000 paints, and I'm not experiencing this problem. Might be because, the PS3 clock and the GT clock's out of sync. I don't know how to fix this, but it may help.
 
Just send them to your friends? It'll take long, but you'll get rid of them.

Send max of 5 per day log-in get 10 per day you'll never get rid of them!:ouch::dopey::yuck::nervous::scared::grumpy:
 
Museum cards, horns and paint chips, biggest waste of game space, ever. Who the hell reads the Museum cards?? Who the hell changes the horns on their car (other than the comedic Tank Car one). And as far as paint goes, I'm happy to collect the various colours, but they should just be added to your available pallet, you shouldn't be getting and having to use 'chips'. I found the paint, dammit, I'll take it to the paint store and get them to sample it so I can rock up at any point in the future and say, "Dude, crack me out another tin of that ubër pearlescent paint, I'm going at the Honda Beat..."
