It's New Years Eve, what should I do?

To celebrate, I mean.

Quite frankly I'm as bored as piss and I don't know what to do tonight. Maybe I should play more CoD4 (OH WAIT XBL IS DOWN THANKS MICROSOFT). Maybe I should rent some movies at a video store that probably won't have enough of the movies I'm looking for (insert porn jokes here). Maybe I should start a thread on GTPlanet oh wait I'm making one now and the last one I made was crammed full of people with sand around their reproductive organs. Do I just sit around watching TV with a thumb up my butt? I know I'm sounding a little depressed but I'm as happy as a clam! Seriously.

Have any friends? Family? Someone you want to spend time with doing something you enjoy? I'm playing GT4 with my parents (MY new years resolution is to teach them how to drive...) and possibly some Flight Simulator X, among other things.

Edit: Oh, and make some good food. You'll want a piece of cake or ice cream or even just a refreshing drink (possibly alcoholic, but not me) when the clock strikes.
 
Go out with mates and/or family.

Seriously, video games and movies aren't the most important things in life ;)
 
I have family, but they're just going to sit on the couch and watch TV. DO NOT WANT
 
Play COD4 like usual if you don't want to watch TV with the family. Single player if the multi doesn't work again. :p

Do the spend time with friends/family. Far more awesomer than video games or movies. Seeing how it was New years here 12 hours ago, here's a tip. If someone offers you a shot of "Fijian vodka" thats green and supposedly tastes like Midori, be suspicious. It's absinthe. Which just burns your throat a little. Not like Midori at all. At all. Which you do NOT need after a night of drinking. Still groggy.

No seriously duck, spend it with your family, you can play video games tomorrow morning. Or call one of your friends and ask her/him what is she/he doing tonight. Gotta celebrate it man!
 
If your family is watching TV you might be able to get them to watch one of the many new years marathons that always plays on new years. Last year we watched 3 stooges until it got close, then we watched the ball drop while we rattled our noisemakers and flung our confetti.

Listen to this person as they are 100% correct. Go out and see the fireworks, or go out with some buddies or something. Staying at home alone playing games is rather boring.

Now, you asked us what you think you should do--I will stay home and probably drink some Jager and watch some TV shows on DVD because I feel like it.

Uhh. If you know anyone, call them up. 18? or of legal age in your city/state/country/planet? Goto a local bar, Most of them in my town usually have some local bands playing for the night. Im about ready to head off too see some people i work with play and stay totally sober at the same time.

As for me. I'm going to hang out with some friends and play with fireworks and drive around yelling random stuff at drunken people. So, going to be a night of random jackassery here.
