Hokey Cokey... After a brief break for Christmas... The Sunday quiz that's never actually ON a Sunday returns! Mwahahaha!

1. (Geography-ish) Which British town is famous (only) for a church with a crooked spire?
2. (Natural World-kinda) What is the collective noun for baboons?
3. (Science-y) How many people have walked on the surface of the moon, and how many of them were not American (1 point each answer)?
4. (Business-sorta) About a third of all of the socks made in the world each year originate from a single town - colloquially referred to as "Sock City" by locals. Where?
5. (Sports - definitely) What's the highest ever winning margin in the League Cup Final (a domestic football trophy in England)?
6. (Motorsports) Who won the first ever A1GP "World Cup of Motorsport" championship trophy?
7. (Geography) Which is the driest place on Earth, in terms of rainfall?
8. (History) Which King of England was targetted by Guy Fawkes' Gunpowder Plot?
9. (Time...) Was 1900 a Leap Year?
10. (Natural World again) When does a chameleon change colour?

For question 10, i knew how many had been on the moon. I wasn't aware that some were not from the US so i had to guess.

I can't decide whether to answer Boston or Chicago for question 4.
 
I entered and I'm hopeful. I don't want to spoil the fun of these quizes, but I've actually learned some stuff! I wish I was as commited to homework as to these questions.
 
I entered for the first time ever, some questions seemed easier than others.... but one thing.....

.... who the hell would want to live in a place with the nickname Sock City? lol
 
Done. I am hopeless - I knew number 6 (because the A1GP was on last weekend), and I think I know number 7 (not totally sure, even if I did study Geography last year). That's it. :)
 
Not even trying this one out; I only have a faint idea for two of the questions. Hopefully I'll know more on the next quiz.

Thing is, we don't want to know what Google knows. As I said in the first one I did, you CAN Google it but what would be the point of that?

Except that you still got two wrong... :D
 
OK, I have an idea. When I send in my answers I'm going to send two sets in the same PM. The first set will be the answers that I actually know, and, because I like learning the answers to these questions, I'm still going to have my Googled answers in a set below that. I'll let you decide which set you want to take.

It's up to you if you Google it - as I said in the first evAh quiz. I do give very full answers when I reveal them though.
