Hey man, while you are in Vegas you should check out the Luxor, there are many fun activities that occur in there, also their game room is 2 floors, I loved it when I was there. You should also goto the New York New York and ride the Manhatten Express rollercoaster, its great. I have more to say about Vegas but my time is very limited right now due to my school starting in a week and I have way too much summer homework to do.

Have fun on your vacation :)

Thanx Zero,.. and yeah,.. we plan on hitting the NYNY coaster,... and thanx for the tip on the Luxor 👍.... that's the one modeled after the Giza Pyramid, correct?

Yeah pretty much. The Sante Fe hotel, its not on the strip but its great it has a 60 lane bowling alley, a full sized ice rink and a bunch of other good stuff in it, I cant remember everything I havent been to Vegas in a loooooooooong time, about 3-5 years :(

RYR, your gonna have a great time, ive been there about 5 times and it gets better each time.

PSS.. go to the saharah to the driving simulator, pretty fun there :D

Hey, have a great time, Brian. It's odd how it suddenly strikes you, "Hey, I can take a trip and see stuff!"

wow a hover dam i would love to see how one of those work:lol

You're not really one to point out spelling errors.

If you can, drive out to Meteor Crater, Red Eye. It might just be a big hole in the ground, but it's a badass hole in the ground.

Plus you can hear a story about someone who flew into the crater, but couldn't fly out, heh.

Yeah,.. takin the GF along for the ride  Although, I doubt we'll even gamble. I might throw $100 on black and see what happens,... ya never know :)

Sounds like a great trip Red Eye Racer! Can't say that I've booked a trip like that before. Sure I've taken the miss' along for a drive to the West Coast for some good ocean air, but that was the extent of it.

Hope all goes well. So how much did you budget ($$$) for the trip? If your uncomfortable in posting it, that's cool to, I was just curious is all.

Thanx man,....

As far as finances go,... the initial cost is $1300 and change for All air travel, car rental, hotel accomidations. I figure we'll probably, get about 20 miles a gallon in the car, and will travel a minimum of 1000 total miles, so, a pesemistic guess of $200 for fuel should be sufficient.

I'm betting on $50 a day(x9) for food and $100(x9) a day on supplies and recreation (high esimate). Which brings the total so far to $2850,.... add on $540 for the helicopter trip and we get a grand total of $3390. Though I'd be suprised if the entire trip costs' me over $3000.

Does that look like a high/low/acceptable estimate?

I'm hookin up with 3 other GT3 racers on Saturday, Sept. 6 at this place in Southern California :D :D :D

If anyone lives in the area and wants to join up with us for the day,... gimme a shout 👍

Just made a reservation to rent a Vette for Wed. Sept. 3. I know I coulda done better but the Vette is the ol' lady's favorite ride in the world ( yeah I know).

Damn-it though,... we're getting the standard convertable,... because is comes in automatic (again, she ruins my fun cuase she cant drive manual). I wanted the Z06 sooooooooooooooooooooooo bad,... they had one but only in a 6-speed and only $50 more too :( :( :(

Oh well,... at least I get to beat on a Vette for a day :D :D

BTW,... I'm takin the plunge on Sept. 4.

Wish me luck

I know I'm about 2 months late on posting these but hey, better late than never

I'll post more pics of the cars in the museum later tonight.

This is the spot where Erica and I got engaged :)

This is the Vette we rented for a day in Las Vegas. Unfortuantely, is has a form of TCS/ASM that couldnt be turned off and kept the REAL fun to a minimum :(

This is a photo taken while we were in a helicopter taking a trip from Las Vegas to the Grand Canyon. You may remeber that I later posted about a crash that occured 2 weeks after our trip and the same pilot we had died in that crash. :o

This is a Delta HF Integrable Rally Car on disply/for sale @ the largest showroom for exotic vehicles for sale in the world. It's on the fifth floor of the hotel we stayed at (Imperial Palace). They were asking $400,000 for this bad dog :o

This was taken at NELLIS Air Force Base in Las Vegas. Erica's cousin is stationed there, and he gave us a grand tour of the entire facility. It's virtually a self sustaining city in itself. VERY impressive. This tank was in the first golf war. The crew were sleeping inside when the tank was hit by the 'dud' missle :o They all survived unharmed.

I'll have more soon :D

Man, now I really want to go to the Skip Barber racing school  Any other cars like the Indy car or the Winston Cup car at Skip Barber? Cool tank btw

Yeah, there were other ones that I DO have Pic's of.

They looked like S2000's but I dont remember off the top of my head.
