AS you all know, America and the World suffered greatly on Sept 11, 2001.
I propose that while we gather around to remember that fateful day we remember with thoughts and prayers those who died and those who worked so hard to find them, and those medical personnel who stepped into the gap and patched up the injured, and cried with the families of the dead.
I also propose that we remember our comrades that were born on Sept. 11 and wish them well.
For those about to turn a year older.
WE SALUTE YOU, HAPPY BIRTHDAY.
I wrote these words a couple of years ago and never have they been truer.
In the aftermath of one of the worst natural disasters in history, I want to take the time to wisha happy birthday to our members with 9-11 birthdays, and those who are trying to celebrate in the midst of trying to get back to normalcy following the damage of Hurricane Katrina.

I am in no way trying to trivialize either of these events.
I am trying to find some "silver lining" to hold onto in these dark times.
