Now finished with every thing I'm interested in with offline the real fun starts. Online.

However I found my cars had trouble meeting host requirements. Too much HP, too little HP, dont have the optimum tires etc

So I deemed it necessary to create a Murderers' Row

4 cars, ranging from 330 HP to 800 HP. Because I bought every single tire compound and engine upgrade that was removable I can fine tune them to meet regulations of any race 330-800 HP. All were kept above 1200 kgs to avoid racecar restricting regulations.

All American, all meticulously modded and refined to improve performance but retain a near showroom look. All 4 cars only received a sports suspension upgrade to retain original feel. No racing mods or aero devices to keep a near street stock look.

A shame the Saleen or Shelby Series One is not premium

I've also modded cars in 25 HP increments from 200 HP to 700 HP. For example if I tire of using Murderers' Row and a 500 HP race comes up I already have a 500 HP Ferrari F40 with every tire compound etc ready to go. If a 675 HP race comes up I have a 675 HP C12S Zonda ready for it.

All left to do is prepare my racecars.

All the modding cost 4 mil+ credits but was well worth it

What a useless set of cars.

You are missing some very important aspects to make the cars competitive.

I guess if you have too much time on your hands this is the end result lol

My diahatsu will destroy all on the full autumn ring :D

We had a 300BHP- room, was me with my 180BHP Diahatsu and a guy with a 230BHP Miata and we demolished all the touring cars that made it in the restrictions. :3

Feels good to overtake an Audi and dominate skylines in the smallest car in the game :D

Aero parts kill the "sleeper" effect. Yay America! Those are some sick rides. I'll be steering clear of you online sir!

ha ha, you've obviously never raced against Earth! Try beating him in one of his useless cars, then you can make asinine statements.

Sleeper cars is something I aimed for

I had 3 rules when getting these cars together

1. No AWD / 4WD

2. No aero devices or race modifications because to me you might as well race a racecar then. I dont care if I am at a disadvantage. Beating fully modified ricers will be enjoyable

3. No fully modifiable race suspensions. For many of the same reasons as 2

A sleeper can have adjustable suspension and I agree with you on the aero parts, since a sleeper is a car that dont cought attention

lotus? lol

I know I'm beating a dead horse but I swear I thought I saw it move. GT5 NEEDS a livery editor BADLY. Photomode is great and all but if we're just taking pics of the same cars with different colors it loses it's appeal quickly. Nice photos from the OP but it just kills it when we can't customize it more. Man I hope that's coming in a future patch.

All those car listed being American made me Lol.

I personally would use a fully racing suspension and aero parts except for the non oem looking spoilers and extensions.

(1) It's "Corvette", not Covette,

(2) Don't put white rims on a black car,

(3) Don't put Volk TE37's on an American car.

I should take the Corvette away from you just for these heresy's alone.

What a useless reply. But I guess if you're trollin this is the result.

Lol. Take your vettes seriously huh? White rim really can't hurt that rattle trap that only exists today because the American taxpayers were forced to bailout a poorly run GM. IF PD really wanted to make those accurate they would have faded paint and lots of rattling on any vette over a few years old. Lol

Cool Story Bro.

I heard from a buddy that USC is the place where all the rejects who couldn't get into Stanford, Berkley and UCLA go. Based on your comments looks like my buddy is correct.

Lol your buddy is almost right. USC University of Second Choice but the saying is USC is for the rich kids that didn't have the grades for Stanford. Nothing to do with UCLA or Berkley.

Rich kids that think they can play football right?

Lol yeah because SC sucked this last decade. Lol. But I'm not sure this belongs in this forum. PM me I will give you my email and we can go at it all day. I would enjoy it.

And SC has OWNED THE BUCKEYES for a long time.

Stanford is one of my clients. I place IT people to work there. Some of the nicest people ever to deal with.

Im worried a racing suspension will ruin the feel of the car

lol

I have white rims on my black Civic. I think it looks good so I have them on the game cars

The GT and ZR1 both won online today. The GT was faster then any non racecar and the ZR1 pulverized a LFA and a Superleggera but I've only ran a dozen or so races with them

Another thing is I leave the transmission stock. Havent had a problem with gears yet

Very nice set of cars there. I may do something like this in the future myself.

Thanks

Im afraid this thread makes it look like I was trying to show off now, I thought people would be posting the rides they use online for specific regulations but I guess not

Probably best to let this thread die and drop to the bottom.

I'm still grinding away on races to collect cars. I want to try a little of everything, but modding up a few hundred cars to experiment on will likely cost half a billion credits. And seeing as this is the stingiest GT yet, it's gonna be a while...

But I'm compiling a fleet of stock cars, lightly to heavily modded, Race Modded and race mod equivalent like Earth did, and with paint jobs to unify the levels. Though the RM equivs get the full aero kits to look snazzy. When I get around to practicing all the tracks, I should be ready for some online stuff.
