...the lineup would still be underrepresented and there would be a load of people screaming how they're all useless bricks with no difference to each other. Well, they are all different of course... but so are the Skylines. The R32 GT-R isn't the same as the R32 GT-R V-Spec, which again isn't the same as the R32 V-SpecII. For example the V-SpecII feels more reluctant to turn that the V-Spec. The difference may not be big but it's real, not that anyone believes me though.The only useless Skylines are the Midnight Purple versions which should really have been just colour options.

Don't quote me on this, but I think Saab declined from being included in GT4. Both Volvo and Saab were against being in earlier videogames (GT2 and 3); for whatever reason, Volvo changed their minds.

So an NSX is an NSX is an NSX, whether it's the '91 Acura, '02 Honda, or Takata Dome JGTC.

All in all, from the 750 cars I pulled from a list here on GTPlanet, there ended up being 380 unique models, or groups.

It was the Midnight Purple editions that took the piss for me - I can see the reasoning behind including the V-spec, N1 and Nur versions, but taking up a car file or two for just one colour seems ridiculous. I mean, 52 is far too much. The amount of NSX's is also a bit excessive as well TBH.

I for one, would like to see some more MG's in. Even just one example of the Zed saloons or even a Maestro turbo replacing some of these Skylines.

Still a Great list. IMO, I think 380 unique models is still quite a lot of driving. But not ever-one will ever be satisfied.
