There are 52 Skylines, 22 Lancers, 20 RX-7s, 11 Miatas, 20 Imprezas, 9 Legacy(s), 14 Celicas, 9 Supras, 26 NSXs, 13 Civics, 14 Fairlady(s), 13 S2000s, and 14 Silvias.

Are these all variants?
52 Skylines? What a waste, why not use some of that time and space to create cars from places other than Japan? Some more British cars would be nice for a start.
52 Skylines is really too much.
2 x R32 (one RWD)
2 x R33 (one RWD)
1 x R34
5 x historical and others
5 x Race cars
thats 15 skylines... what are the other 37?
There are a million ones with special colors and stuff. Like the midnight purple.
If the miracle happened and PD gave us even the...All the old Volvo 240's
YES! and the 2010 Mustang.I would prefer something like
1964-1/2 Ford Mustang Coupe with 260cid V8 or even a straight 6 (basically a good low-powered 'stang to do the 1000 Miles!
1966 Mustang Coupe 289 HO
1967 Mustang fastback
1969 Mustang 428 Cobra Jet
1969 Mustang Coupe with 351 Windsor or Cleveland
1970 Mustang 302 Boss and/or 429 Boss
(skip the Mustang IIfollow up with the...)
1983 Mustang SVO 4-cylinder turbo (yes there was a turbo Mustang)
any 5.0 coupe from the 3rd generation.
A couple stangs from the 4th generation other than the red Cobra R...
...and so onIt's a huge ball-drop on PD's part that they didn't include any older Mustangs, even tho they were huge sellers and changed the face of motorsports & our streets.
.....And the Shelby that we win doesn't count! That's just as bad as including RUFs but not ordinary Porsches.
They should have added that car, my friendThe game is already finished, so whatever the cars that we want are, we can only hope that they will be in GT5, and that we will be able to afford it!

I'd be content with a 240 that didn't weigh 1100 pounds more than it does in real life.If the miracle happened and PD gave us even the...

244 GLT & 245 GLT (the flathood versions)
244 Turbo & 245 Turbo

Or SwedishEverybody want cars from their own country. All the old Volvo 240's, 740's, S40's, Amazon and Saab 99, 900's, 9000, 95, 93... Not to forget, the Swedish pride... Koenigsegg
That would be awesome! I just want the new Fiat 500 in GT5, the old one was in GT4 so why not?
If it interests anyone, back in 2005 I put together a condensed list of the cars in GT4, demonstrating the many repeats as pointed out by Mazda Mazda. For the purposes of the list I grouped each car with others that shared the same chassis/platform and basic styling, even if it was a racing variant. So an NSX is an NSX is an NSX, whether it's the '91 Acura, '02 Honda, or Takata Dome JGTC.
All in all, from the 750 cars I pulled from a list here on GTPlanet, there ended up being 380 unique models, or groups.
