I've just recently bought an xploder V4 and I'm messing about with Mk's Editor

I just need a few answers to clear things up

1. How do i use another cars downforce without actually changing the body itself

2. When I convert a NTSC save game to a PAL save most of the games menu fonts and button phrases change (eg. "Mph" rather than "Kmh" which I love because thats what UK speed is measured in) why is this so?

3. Can anyone tell me where I can get a hold of a NTSC Import of GT3 over here to the UK

Thanks in Advance

To adjust your DF for any vehicle to any setting up to 255, you will have to export the vehicle, from the right click menu, and edit the notepad file(.ini) lines 292 and 296, which are the front and rear DF respectivly. Then import the edited file back into MK's over the vehicle of your choice.

OOOooooOOoOooOo an Xploder user...

As far as I know the Xploder and the gameshark v3/v4 all use the same codes and technology, as they are both made by fire international... then the gamesharks are labeled madcatz here in the US.

Maybe you can tell me if my code list works for Xploder users as well... the link to my site is in my sig.

Also, your link cable software should also use the same file format as the new sharkport, .P2M files. If you u have troublw loding your saves back to your game you may want to try using my guide to using MKs with the sharkport 2 v2 (with a little adaptation), also on my site. good luck, and let me know if it is the same!

Yeah Sinned your guide was the first thing i read that got me into hybridding because i didnt know the Xploder V4 was a Gameshark V4 for about 4 months until i tried your guide out and everything worked fine, I owe you for that

BTW I Always use gameshark codes on my Xploder and they work fine also the Xploder Xlink software does use .P2M files. Now i want to get a copy of the NTSC GT3 so i can mess about with the diablo

Well thats really good to know... now I can change the info on my site to let xploder users know they can use it as well.

Now I need to find the time to do that... htis new job I have makes it hard to mess around with my hobbies.

Thanks for the info though!

I'm going to be making a small website for us folks in the UK, Would it be alright if I use your guide adapted for xploder users on my website?

go right ahead...

Just be sure to make note that you adapted it from my site, and then also copy the thanks to portion on my site and post it on yours.

I wouldnt miond you linking my site too if you don't mind... and when I get the chance I would also link yours.

Let me know when your done so I can check it out.
