I am having such a time trying to tame this cat but to no luck, I am having a strange oversteer problem, the D-Type is not "spinning out" or losing the grip on the rear but wants to continue turning in the direction of the turn when I exit that turn.
Does anyone that reads these tuning posts have any help they can give me? Whether it is a full tune or advice on what to adjust to tame this crazy Jaguar, please I'm asking for help...

"Help me GT7 Tuners, you're my only hope..."

Post an image of your current setup, and we can help you.
Will post one tonight when I get home late night 1820042e51920-27720657D01D4B63844.315B375F96579043_message_424412598148708_1657861711518.jpg

Sorry for the delay. I remember winning LM WTC 30 minutes, but it was sketchy at best. That old Aston on the other hand was way worse!!

Thank you for the image. Oversteer on corner exit can be solved a multitude of ways, however, lets try this with your current setup.
  • Set the front anti-roll bar to 6
  • Set the front springs to 2.50, so it matches the rear
  • Zero out your toe front and rear
  • Set the front dampers to 35 and 45
  • Remove the "Full Control Computer" and install the "Sport" one
  • Decrease the "Acceleration Sensitivity" to 15 and adjust the "Initial Torque" value till you can get close to "0.00"

For the Aston, are you referring to the DB3S or the DB5? Please send tune for that also if possible

Here's what I wound up with. I used Bobby's tune and got rat-screwed by the games pre-determined 'thou shalt only be allowed to perform this well for that car' algorithm. The rain couldn't stop me, so I got absolutely drilled 3 times in the final lap and fell from a comfortable lead all the way down to 16th.

Back to the garage, took a bit of advice from alx and got the win, in spite of the game trying to rob me again. Those laps are terrible and it's all due to the terrible weather programming.

Final Tune (Final Gear set @ 3.300):

Good car I’d like to say, maybe some other day I’ll try her again. Tired of getting pissed on today.

The DB5 was fun with no wing. DB3S is still a hard drive like the 250 GTO

Just ran the race with a wacky tune but it worked (the heavy rain helped for 3 laps also). Time trialed it before the race and it ran a 4:22 on RS. Decided to use RH for the race and it cured most of the snap oversteer/rear kickout, still have to be careful and EARLY braking is a must because the lack of downforce, bad brakes and skinny tires. Ran FM6 even though DB3 is good on fuel (power came on smoother), still can hit 190 on the straights.
-default ABS
-auto trans
-TC in the rain only
-normal difficulty

Thank you for this, it will help tame the DBS3

The alpine A220 is a Le Mans beast!
This is a PRAIANO tune with a little tweak.
No need to add ballast or cut power since the last update.
You can add the racing intercooler.
Keep the normal transmission.
You can use the racing trans if you add ballast and cut power but the car is a beast as is.
Hitting under 4 minute laps.
Racing soft and heavy wet tires are all you need.
