Okay, so I now know that the time I have spent refreshing the UCD in search of the Jaguar XFR '10 has been wasted, as it's not available there, but I was wondering if it's among the possible cars from a Ticket 1000. Given the nature of the car and its availability in the game (obtained by golding the third and final TGTT event), I was curious if the car, in fact, is NOT a possible Ticket 1000 reward.

And just to limit responses stating alternatives...I'm currently (and for the foreseeable future) offline, so I can't rely on the generosity of others or create an account with a 2010 birth year and transfer the ticket from that.

Yes it is,I did get one once.👍 Sadly I lost that game save but for sure it can happen.:)

Good to know. Now to get 3 more tickets for a grand total of 10 so that I can grind em.

Just asking, why not win it from the Top Gear challenge? It's actually pretty easy. Or if anything don't use a 1000 ticket, use a level 9 ticket. Much better chance of getting it 👍

I've golded all three TGTT challenges, did that ages ago, and as I'm offline I have no way of obtaining any tickets other than 1000s (have obtained all other possible tickets in "career mode"). Honestly, Ticket 1000s aren't difficult to come by, I'm at over 3700 wins. Being offline, my tuning comes by way of racing and I may as well earn some credits instead of tuning in Practice mode, so I finish a decent number of races that way. I really want another XFR because I won my current one ages ago and, like most anyone with my experience level at the time, maxed it out almost immediately. I'd really like a stock or mostly-stock car to tinker with.

I do too but I wonder more why it's so dang exclusive...and yet tradeable.

This is why I buy most cars twice.👍 :)

No doubt, as soon as I have another Minolta show up in UCD I'ma buy it and then buy a 787B for two full Group C sets.

Though, a "hard reset" for cars would be nice. Wipe out everything but mileage and wins/switches. It would require everything be bought for it again but would eliminate the irreversible upgrades.

I don't see it happening though..I like having one stock and one tuned though.:)

Yeah it's very unlikely but I agree with you 99.9%. I'd be inclined to do a little tuning but not do anything that can't be deselected.

Oh yes,the weight thing completely ruined a 458 Italia I once had, good car it was too until then.:( I haven't done it since.

I never get 1000 tickets. Just got my second one a few days ago. First I got since almost the launch.

If you haven't updated at all since you got the game, you can use a trick that I know to get the car you want (though you may spend a few hours doing it because of lane cars)

When you open the ticket, and the car shows up in front of you, (if you don't like it) immediately quit game using ps button... Keep doing that until the car you want is there!

In order to work, you CANNOT update your ps3

OR if you are upgrade save your game, enter the game open the ticket, if you dont like PS button back to the XMB and overwrite your main game with the backup. Thats even more time though but an option... Couldnt imagine doing it with a Ticket 1000... good grief!

Yeah I have this car 0/0/0 myself - XFR '10 | Botanical Green Metallic but as you are not online that doesnt help much

I was shocked when I was farting around last week and got this car from the TG challenge. I had no idea it was so exclusive.

Good thing the event is so easy that even I can do it.

My game is updated until just before 2.0, and I got/used the ticket ages ago so I won't be doing any of that stuff, but I'm up to 9 tickets now and halfway to another. Once I have 10 I'll just start grinding them, only accepting a Daytonagrau Perleffekt R8 LMS or an XFR. I'll probbly keep track of the cars I get too, as this particular ticket comes up a lot in the "what do you get" line of questioning.

Oh and priesty_lfc I appreciate the offer but:

I'm currently (and for the foreseeable future) offline, so I can't rely on the generosity of others.
