Great find that, Loved the bit about 3rd gear, crikey they where lucky to finnish.
 
A very relevant quote in there that pertains to all the people who complain that their wheel moves back and forth at high speeds and is "not realistic".

"First, on Mulsanne it moved around a lot, like towing a caravan in a crosswind, and the more you tried to fight it, the worse it was, so you just had to let it do it. "
 
What was the advantage of the v12 over a turbo power flat 6 or v8?

They mentioned that it was a heavy engine, but speed was something it was not short on.

And now that I think about it, Jaguar in the late 80s early 90s aren't as epic as people make them out to be.
