Anyone except me that will buy this game as soon as it will be released? "Jak and Daxther - The precursor legacy" is one of my favourite games and I think Jak II will be even better. I havent seen anything from it but read about it and it was said to be a mix of Jak and Ratchet&Clank (which was another superb game!).

The release date here is mid october, and this'll probably take my focus of GT4 for a while:lol:

How could they take Daxter out? As cool as Jak is, Daxter was one funny little character.

He'll be missed.

Or something.

Uhh, Daxter is still in, bud. He's still there, but Naughty Dog decide to drop him from the title.

It was pretty good, if only a little too easy. I rented it and finished it.

I agree, It was a little too easy. Hope they change that. What I understand ND has kept is the wonderful shifting day-night and the abscense of loadingtime.

Yeah, I love the no loading time. I hope they add more bosses. I also love the animation system they used, which blends up to 20 frames at once, so all animations are smooth and lifelike.

:(

I hate to say this but I am dissappointed. Mabye I'll get over it and finish the game someday? The simple collecting platform style from "Precursor legacy" is gone. Here you are bound to do missions in a particular order. I don't like that.

I miss the freedom and simplicity from the first game. It had a special atmosphere that isn't recreated here.

The graphics are great but often it gets too much for the ps2 and it starts jerking.

The controls are great and smooth.

It feels like ND has changed much just because they think change is good. Sometimes it's not and this is an example of that.

Well anyway the game gets decent to good grades in rewievs. Mabye I had too high excpectations for it. Now I wish that I had saved my money and instead bought "Ratchet and Clank - Going Commando" which is released in late nov.

I'm looking forward to this too. Same thing with R&C2 because both of the originals were great.
To throw on another title, Sly Cooper was probably better than both of them albeit a little short and slightly too easy. (not all the time.)

since I'm not much of a vid gamer and I the only games I really own are car games I might rent this one like I did the first one. I never really liked the first one that much. This one looks a bit more interesting.
