Too expensive to modify. With only 80,000 to play with, I don't think I can make it competitive.
I still have to beat GT40 racer's time.
There are only a handful of cars that will do that.
The 400 R isn't one of them.
The Short list includes:
RX-7
Supra RZ
MR-2 GT-S

ya never know im sure MazKid could find a way to do something.

That is only the "short" list.
There are a few more cars in the back of my mind that may be quide interesting after pumping 200000cr into them.
😈 😈

I know that. We've already discussed this at length.
My brain is jumbled a bit. But, not that jumbled.

But with a car like a Miata.
180,000 is close enuff to 200,000 It may be insane enough to win.
Who is crazy enough to try it??

The Limit is 200K.
Hint: The Mine's and 400R seem to be the hot tickets for this one.
However, I don't have an R-tune on the memory card I'm using for this.
The other one I'm 3-4 races into the Formula GT cup.

oh i thougt it got changed to 500k somewhere in that mess a posts

OOps Brain fart, The Mines Skyline and 400R are for the Skyline thread.
For this one I'd recommend the RX-7, Supra, or Perhaps the EVO 7

hmm evo 7 maybe i dont liek the performance of supra and rx 7 i dont know why

Well, i havent seen too many times posted up so here:
In a RX7 w/ a total of 196280 credits to build, i got 1:29.023 at Seattle.

WHO? How do you know what he spent? It ain't in the thread.

I abandoned the NSX.
Put together an RX-7 for 199,030.
Ran it 9 good laps and ran
1:30.875 Which puts me a bit ahead of GT40 racer. (my former goal)
But I see another challenger has emerged.
(I reach a goal, and someone comes along and moves the goal line *grumble, grumble*)
I may have to rethink the Stage 3 Turbo. So I can add brake balance, LSD, and other power mods.

Autobacs;
I'm coming after your time. 😈

Im glad someone has acknowledged my time :)
As ur not too far behind...i must strap myself back into the FD!

BTW, is there a rule against using TCS or ASM when competing for these challenges. I ask cuz no one mentions about them.
I personally set my TCS to 2 and ASM to 0. Thats the setting i used for the RX7.

I'm three quarters of a second behind you. w/o TCS or ASM. Once I sort out this chassis, Look out.

I cant believe it myself...i was doing about 15laps without hitting the 29second range :thatsodd: but outa nowhere, i busted a 1:27.598 on the 19th lap  and kept in the 28second range for another two laps.
Like u GIL, i set the TCS off as well.

1:27!!!arrrgh
*stomps off*
You are keeping me on my toes.
I may have to face the fact that I may not be able to beat you.
*hangs head in shame*
